Hand-knotted in fine quality wool & silk, a gorgeous circle rug inspired by 19th century Persian masterpieces of rare provenance.New to our Modern Classics collection, this particular work is believed to have been initiated by a German designer in the early 2000s. The design depicts an elaborate classic floral design in more modern colors of gray, green, blue & beige-brown with other vivid, colorful accents highlighting the finesse of this brilliant portrait. Connoisseurs & collectors may keenly observe animal representation accompanying the dense florals hinting an elaborate forest theme. A one-of-a-kind vision witnessing the amalgamation of contemporary & antique aesthetics, idyllic for a multitude of discerning projects. While the pictorials connote inspiration from Persian hunting murals, connoisseurs may further note Tree of Life symbols depicted.
