This vintage 5x8 rug is an exciting new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren. Hand-knotted in wool circa 1960-1970. Further on the Design: This particular Art Deco rug exemplifies Müren’s talent for recapturing iconic classic styles in his own mid-century style. One seldom sees this play of mustard, lavender, burgundy, black and other rich and vibrant hues in this style—let alone in works of this period. It’s an exemplar of the more bold, graphic selections in Müren’s interesting range of work we curate today. Further on the Condition: This mid-century Art Deco rug further enjoys an otherwise good condition for this provenance.
