Hand-knotted in wool, this 3x4 vintage rug celebrating Turkish icon and multidisciplinary designer Zeki Müren is the latest to join Rug & Kilim’s commemorative Mid-Century Pasha Collection. On the Design: Showcasing Müren’s signature flair for the theatrical and the folkloric, this rug features two boldly stylized rooster pictorials facing one another in a symmetrical composition. Set against a soft, minty green background with a red border, the overall aesthetic fuses rustic charm with avant-garde design—a hallmark of Müren’s artistic legacy. The deliberate naivety of the figures is enhanced by their decorative plumage and abstract floral surroundings. This is a stunning piece well suited for bedrooms, kids room, study rooms, playrooms and dining rooms amongst an array of possibilities. Condition: This vintage Zeki Müren rug carries mild wear consistent with age.
