Handwoven in Turkey originating between 1950-1960, this vintage midcentury wool Kilim rug enjoys a meticulous play of embroidery and flat weaving, uncommon and distinguishing of a select line from our recent additions to our collections. The finesse of the textural high-low weave so skillfully complements the geometry as it plays off the uncommon colorway, a distinct with an artisan, the subtle blue accent in the diamond pattern. The juxtaposition of the more radiant and rich, earth tone colorways creates such an effortlessly enjoyable sense of movement within the stylistically brighter borders, offering both gravity and an easygoing complement to discerning projects.
