This 10x14 oversized rug is a bold new addition to the Homage Collection by Rug & Kilim. Hand-knotted in wool, this piece features geometric patterns inspired by the primitivist Berber style. On the Design: This design enjoys beige-brown geometric patterns that draw on the primitivist and nomadic sensibilities of Moroccan rugs. It has the less formal, more lively sense of movement a Moroccan might enjoy, and the rustic look plays beautifully with the texture inherent to this collection. There’s a deft hand behind this approach to a subdued colorway, and the look is as much a work of art as a handmade rug. Keen eyes will admire the many levels that such an otherwise smart, sophisticated piece enjoys in this Shabby Elegance texture. This remarks our easy-to-maintain, comfortable wash, and an inventive Rustic Modern design with vast applications.
