This vintage 4x7 rug is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren.Further on the Design:One of the artist’s unique designs that takes from older Aztec-inspired Deco aesthetics, this industrial art Deco piece enjoys abstract geometric patterns in rich gold and navy blue tones. Keen eyes will admire taupe accents in this graphic and unusual piece that evokes such a unique drama and vibrance. It's rare to see this style in a shabby elegance distressed texture, and this is both a collectible and an exemplar of Müren's diverse works.Further on the Condition:This mid-century rug further enjoys an otherwise good condition for this shabby elegance lineage. Ready for the floor, and especially well-suited to projects yearning for country aesthetics.Hand-knotted in wool circa 1960-1970.
