The area rug takes its source from the Caucasian rug of the Kazak areas. Multiple medallions, centralized patterns, and allover layouts have all been given a geometric treatment. This rug is moderately thin and relatively coarsely knotted. Caucasian designs have always been popular for scattering rug in virtually every decorative context.
