Bidjar is a well-known carpet provenience of Iran. No wonder, that this carpet attracts imitators. Indo bidjar carpets are such imitations from India. Indian knotters orientate themselves on the role-models from Iran. They use less knots and the carpets become more coarse, but which also makes them perfect for everyday use. Because of the less time-consuming work, these imitations are also cheaper. Therefore, indo bidjar is perfect for price-conscious friends of oriental design.Indo bidjar, just like their role models, often show the Herati pattern. In the midfield, you can find a medallion, which gives a structure to the carpet.
