This design is a contemporary twist on a traditional Hispano-Moresque style. The heathered ivory Tibetan wool background uses both a multi-color dyeing technique and a combination of cut and uncut piles to create added dimension and texture. The design motifs in Chinese silk use varying tones of platinum and silver.
