This design is a contemporary twist on a traditional Hispano-Moresque style. The heathered gray-blue Tibetan wool background uses both a multi-color dyeing technique and a combination of cut and uncut piles to create added dimension and texture. The design motifs in Chinese silk use varying tones of ivory and pale, frosty blue.
