This vintage silk flatwoven rug features an intricate animalia design interspersed with distinctive Soumak motifs. The center field is cream, making the darker colored animals stand out even from a distance. The border features diamonds with miniature birds inside. This colorful, naturally dyed piece bridges the gap between tradition and modern aesthetics.
