• The more solid abstract design of this square rug pays homage to the borders that would normally serve to frame a center field design. In this case, the artist took a different route and instead of creating a detailed central design in the field of this antique rug, here, the creators chose to invest most of the time and energy into creating the magnificent encompassing borders. The warm tone colors of the rug in the center look like an expansive desert that is kissed by a romantic crimson sunset. This combination of warm and cool colors creates a magnificent juxtaposition in this luxurious rug that offers a spectacular display of creativity and artistry.
• This spectacular antique Turkish Oushak rug features stylized more tribal floral motifs in the borders. These more primitive and tribal design elements, give this rug an organic feel which reinforces the naturalistic theme of a summer garden. It resembles the tile work that is found around many formal garden pools throughout the Middle East and Asia. Although this gives it a somewhat more formal feel, the execution of the motifs also creates a tribal feel as well.
• This timeless design will be a beautiful addition to any interior decor style. The unadorned happy coral rug coloration of the background in the center of the this Turkish Oushak rug, creates an excellent place for a small dining room table, a bed or other piece of furniture. It could also stand as a quiet respite in the center of the room on its own.
