This hand-knotted wool rug features a unique combination of geometric patterns overlaid with colorful diamonds. The variation in pattern scale on the background creates an optical illusion where some diamonds pop out more than others. The diamonds themselves feature a contrasting center rectangle, creating the impression of an abstract field of flowers. This piece could complement eclectic decor, or become the focal point of a more simple, modern design.
