Muted colors of green and blue and beige are very subtle and pretty. Rug is tightly woven and quite substantial, but thin, as indicated in specs. I'd use a relatively thick pad. Texture is somewhat rough, in part due to sculpted weave pattern, but also the yarn itself. Would hold up well for high traffic. Fine for bare feet, but not at all a plush feeling. I reluctantly returned it.
