• Artisanally handcrafted one by one in India: Each piece is one of a kind, which may cause very slight variations from one to another.
• Our products are 100% natural fiber-based. The reason why the rugs can have lint falls after the first wash. This will be reduced as you aspire to the rug (low-to-moderate intensity).
• Composition: 97% cotton, 3% other fiber. Base recycled cotton.
• Due to the difference of monitor colors, some rug colors may vary slightly. We try to represent all rug colors as accurately as possible.
• Due to the Handmade weaving technique used to make this item, the final dimensions of the rug may slightly vary.
• All of our rugs have a lightweight and flexible design. You can move them from one room to another, making them a practical choice for any home!
• This is a unique artisan piece, carefully designed by Lorena Canals and sustainably handcrafted in our own factory using natural fibers and upcycled materials, non-toxic dyes, and a firm commitment to the planet and people. From the design process, to material sourcing and production, we always choose options that minimize waste and ensure long-lasting designs.
• Our rugs stand for solidarity. Touched by seeing children whose future is determined by their family's economic circumstances, Lorena Canals decided to offer her social support by giving them access to education. This is how the Sakûla Project was born, a nursery school in the north of India where street children can receive food and education. There are currently 120 children attending the school and counting.
• Lightweight and practical: The flexible cotton canvas backing makes the rug lightweight. Easy to fold, store, or put to wash. We recommend using an anti-slip underlay to keep the rug in place. Non-toxic dyes: Color shades may vary slightly, especially if the fiber is undyed. Safe: This product is non-toxic and complies with all quality and safety regulations for children. • A Lorena Canals rug is for life, to make it last longer, we recommend that you follow these wash and care tips: Folding wrinkles will gradually smooth after laying the rug on the floor allowing for the fibers to naturally adapt. However, you can put the rug in the dryer to speed up the process before first-time use. Suitable for underfloor heating. Use our special rug soap. Use our rug dryer balls.
• Cotton is a natural and renewable fiber, known for its high absorption and insulation properties. Not only is it soft and comfortable to the touch, but it is also hypoallergenic, durable, and easy to clean. With proper care, it will last for many years.
• Domestically washable: Easy to wash, and can be washed in a conventional washing machine. Handmade: Carefully handmade one by one, and in a traditional way. Eco-friendly: Natural cotton and nontoxic dyes. Light thanks to their soft and flexible composition. Easy to combine: You can combine it with other elements to create a warm and cozy atmosphere.
