I have purchased many hand knotted rugs, and was leery of buying one online. This rug is BEAUTIFUL! It is very well made, shipped quickly, and is priced MUCH LESS than local rug stores. I was most concerned about the colors not translating correctly. This rug looks just like it did on my computer screen. The colors are all very soft and muted, which is what I wanted. Colors are ivory, grey, blue grey, ginger brown and hints of aqua.

Clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean, white dry sponge or cloth. An appropriate rug pad is highly recommended on all surfaces to prevent slipping, add cushion, and improve durability. The color may transfer and should not be placed directly over the existing carpet. For vacuuming, use a vacuum cleaner without a beater bar or one where you can set the bar to the highest pile setting. If your vacuum has variable power settings, set it on low. Vacuum full length of the rug, turn and repeat to the next area, rather than back and forth motion.
