Step up to a shaggy, brown and white, abstractly designed Turkish Tulu rug. Tulus originate in central Anatolia and the bitonal pieces are recent innovations since earlier antique Turkish Tulu pieces with the step pattern are a bit more colorful. The directionality is strong and points toward the top end. Tulus are minimalist, archetypal folk art, and work well on the wall as modern or even Art Deco hangings.
