Finding inspiration from a variety of sources - architecture, vintage textiles, and antique tableware to name a few - the designs in our Proprietary Patterns collection are drawn by artists in Pakistan. This talented team is constantly working to create the finest floor coverings available. Patterns are conceptualized and then through collaboration with our artisan team, an initial concept is born in cad. Final renderings are hand drawn on graph paper and subsequently, hand painted in watercolor. The weaving maps are works of art in themselves, guiding the weaver as each knot is tied.

Hand-knotted wool rugs are extremely durable and easily maintained. With proper care, they will last for decades. Vacuuming should be done with suction only to not cause unnecessary shedding, sprouting, and wear to the pile.
With a lush pile that is soft underfoot, wool rugs will often shed a bit. This is normal and can simply be vacuumed. Wool rugs may also sprout small pieces of yarn up from the surface. This is also normal, and the sprouts should be clipped with sharp scissors even with the pile of the rug. Do not pull or tug at the sprouts.
