• Hand-knotted of 100% fine wool in Pakistan, Azilal has a dense weight and fluffy, plush pile.
• 100% fine wool hand-knotted rug made completely by hand. The wool used is also prepared by hand and is rich with abrash, creating a layered, dimensional effect with multiple shades of the same color. This is superior for coordinating upholstery and art.
• Each hand-knotted rug is a unique piece of art, with its nuances and imperfections. This is desirable and alluring, imparting character to each piece in your collection.
• We strive to represent our collection as accurately as possible in photos. Monitor colors can and will vary, please be sure to view each picture offered for a full representation of the item.
• With a lush pile that is soft underfoot, wool rugs will often shed a bit. This is normal and can simply be vacuumed. Wool rugs may also sprout small pieces of yarn up from the surface. This is also normal, and the sprouts should be clipped with sharp scissors even with the pile of the rug. Do not pull or tug at the sprouts.
• Hand-knotted wool rugs are extremely durable and easily maintained. With proper care, they will last for decades. Vacuuming should be done with suction only, do not use a rotating beater brush. Doing so could cause unnecessary shedding, sprouting, and wear to the pile.
