• 100% fine wool hand-knotted rug made completely by hand. The wool used is also prepared by hand and is rich with abrash, creating a layered, dimensional effect with multiple shades of the same color. This is superior for coordinating upholstery and art.

• Wool rugs may also sprout small pieces of yarn up from the surface. This is also normal, and the sprouts should be clipped with sharp scissors even with the pile of the rug. Do not pull or tug at the sprouts. Hand knotted wool rugs are extremely durable and easily maintained. With proper care, they will last for decades. Vacuuming should be with suction only, do not use a rotating beater brush. Doing so could cause unneccesary shedding, sprouting, and wear to the pile.
