I love this rug. I wanted 100 wool, not synthetic a subtle contemporary Moroccan style soft and cozy but not a shag. Also wanted the color on the oatmeal side rather than ivory. It is exactly all of these things. Prettier and more expensive looking in person than online. It’s a warm rug that cozies up the space. The pattern looks more charcoal (on oatmeal) in my house, not brown. Which is what I wanted also. I suppose it could pass for either but I would describe it as charcoal. It doesn’t shed much for a wool rug. A few fine threads come out if you pinch and pull but not real shedding. I absolutely love it. For a hand knotted, wool rug it’s a great price. This is 12x15. I may even buy the 9x12 one for another room I love it so much.
