Recently I purchased a Feizy Rugs/Nathanim Wool Geometric Area Rug (Rectangle 10’ x 14’, $3,399.00 plus tax), together with a Karastan Better Stay Non-Slip Cushioning Rug Pad (Rectangle 10’ x 14’, $134 plus tax) via Periogold’s website. Overall, I found the purchasing process to be smooth and easy; and the website is ‘user friendly’. Throughout the process from purchase to delivery, Perigold kept me posted via e-mail as to the status of my order, including updates on my expected deliver time. And, both the rug and the rug stay were successfully delivered on their respective scheduled dates. The rug was delivered by Perigold’s Delivery Partner, a local moving & storage company. In accordance with my request the delivery men carefully set the rug down on the floor in my living room. I asked whether they planned to unpack the rug; and they explained that unpacking was not included in this particular delivery task description. Notwithstanding, because I personally unpacked the rug, I gained an appreciation for the great extent to which Perigold had gone to successfully protect the rug (e.g., from damage, unsightly folds and wrinkles, et al) during transport. More specifically, the rug came enclosed in a thick ten-foot-long plastic bag which was heavily taped. And the rug, itself, was compactly wrapped around a solid core which, by itself, weighed about 10 pounds. This rug is now successfully in place on my living room floor (atop the rug stay); and it looks fantastic! Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase of the above-referenced rug and rug stay.
