The rug is beautiful. Colors are great - just like the picture. The issues are it definitely does not come perfect. There were several spots of my rug, obvious to the eye, that a glue or something comes through. The spots are hard and discolored. The other is, which is worse, the hair is coming off. There are several bald spots now. I follow the care instructions and it’s in a room rarely used (no high traffic). There is no good reason for it to be losing hair. Overall I loved the look of the rug but the quality and durability even with low foot traffic is just not great.

This is one of the most beautiful rugs I have seen as far as steer hide. It is the second time I have ordered it for a client. It holds up exceptionally well for places where staining is an issue. Not as great in heavy traffic areas as the hair tends to shed. Love it!
