This rug is beautiful, however it is not red it is more a burnt orange, beige, teal, brown, and a tiny bit of burnt red. It is very hard to discern the true color of a rug from a website. I will give the purchase a 4 star rating because the product search and description both stated the rug was red, and because the rug was permeated with formaldehyde. The rug is airing on my deck for the fifth day and hopefully will soon be clear of the overwhelming smell.

The rug is beautiful and very high quality. The rug reflects the price and the quality is apparent.
