I bought this because I thought it was washable, but it’s really not. It doesn’t look bad out of the box but when you wash it, it shrinks and unravels.

Rug is beautiful. Lays pretty flat right away with a felt rug pad underneath. It is on the thinner side so you definitely want a felt rug pad. It is actually pretty soft to the touch (way softer than a jute or sisal rug). It doesn’t smell at all and was packaged well with several moisture absorbing packets. It is a great classic, timeless rug.
