This contemporary rug was created by renowned designer George Terbovich and the hand of a professional is visible in every inch of its fabric. The carpet combines the traditional Aubusson weave with contemporary aesthetics giving us top-notch quality and a versatile, up-to-date design that will easily fit into a wide variety of interior decors. The Aubusson weave results in a non-pile, densely knotted rug. With proper care, it will outlast a Persian pile carpet. This one was made in complete accordance with the centuries-old craft, executed manually of the best quality wool. The face of the rug carries a minimalist pattern of flowing lines rendered in an equally simple color palette of light grays. This universal and elegant composition will optically enlarge and lighten any space, from classic to state-of-the-art. Doris Leslie Blau carries an exceptional collection of original modern rugs in many styles and materials. Contemporary hand-made rugs are a bridge throughout history, they are the fruit of the constant evolution of the weaving craft that has accompanied men since the dawn of civilization.
