Unfortunately the rug was incorrectly titled “Wool” when in fact it was artificial silk, labeled “artsilk” on the product. To say the least I was very disappointed when it arrived and it was clear that it was not wool, plus the inconvenience of having to write letters, emails and phone calls with your sales people. This was additionally disappointing. I can say that the sales people contacted me immediately the morning after sending the original email. I appreciated the company making it right by accepting and arranging the return and providing a full refund. Which hasn’t been completed as of this review.

This is so elegant and lovely. Although it is a 'solid' color, like human hair it is made of many fine threads of different colors including a subtle gold throughout. It will go with anything because this creates depth, dimension and texture. It is very soft to touch. Although the strands are long, they are woven thick enough to cover the bottom. You do not see the backing at all. The only negative was an initial musty smell which went away after airing a bit - I rested it on a couple of luggage racks with the ceiling fan on. I wish I had been able to get a bigger one!

Horrible color and it sheds

Unexpectedly there's tinsel in the rug ... it's soft, just not as pictured an no where in the description does it mention that there's some metallic strands that gives it a little "sparkle." Not my thing personally, but you might like it ...
