Good thing was the rug arrived several days earlier than shipping date. Unfortunately the rug was very faded in spots so the dark blue in some areas was almost white or bleached white. Also, there was a white powder on the rug with no explanation of what that powder might be. Possibly a preservative, or an anti-rodent powder. Either way is was somewhat disconcerting. I thought the bleached areas were due to the white powder, but after vacuuming several times, then even trying to clean the bleached area, I realized the discoloration was permanent.

Beautiful thick pile, watercolor like in the blue areas, just gorgeous---looks hand made!
