Based on an original Asmara painting inspired by the endless sand dunes pictured in the film "The English Patient". This hand-made cut and loop pile rug was made by combining a loop weave invented by Asmara with the ancient French pile weave. Knotted with a complex yarn made up of several yarns of different shades, this rug has a unique texture and shading variations reminiscent of rare antique rugs. Has passed independent durability tests by the Independent Textile Service of Dalton, Georgia, USA. Green manufacturing methods were used to make this rug. Use it with a pad.
