I didn't want to buy this good a rug for the intended use. And yet I kept coming back to look at it. It was the perfect size, color mix, and thickness to use under the metal wheels of my 100 year old oak table. The wheels were marking my wood floor. It's a beautiful, substantial, and well-made rug. It's looks great, and I'm happy I splurged.
