The Pamplona rug is based on an original Asmara painting by Russian artist Ludmila Slavinsky who imbued the rug with the drama of the Spanish city. A thousand tonal shades from ruby to Cabernet are complemented by gold and beige in a design inspired by the French Empire period. Made with ancient French Aubusson dyeing and weaving methods, this hand-knotted Aubusson flat weave rug has thousands of subtle color shades, similar to antique Aubusson rugs.
