Based on an original Asmara painting inspired by a Tuscan hillside covered with olive groves, cypresses, wildflowers, and goldenrod bushes. This hand-made cut and loop pile rug was made by combining a loop weave invented by Asmara with the ancient French pile weave. Knotted with a complex yarn made up of several yarns of different shades, this rug has a unique texture and shading variations reminiscent of rare antique rugs.
