Specific aspects of colors and designs have been incorporated in this high-quality rug of timeless classic oriental designs, hand-knotted in China. The wool used is a mixture of Mongolian and New Zealand wool. These lustrous wools come from sheep’s wool with a high content of lanolin. This improves resiliency and therefore the quality of the carpet. The knotting system used is the Oriental Senneh knot. This rug has a high knot count of 190-200 knots per square inch. The results are a sharpness of design seen in the intricate patterns, combined with an overall look of quality.
