This is a vintage one-of-a-kind 1'8" x 4'9" Round rug, hand hooked in cotton in the 1950s. A striking vintage multicolor jewel-tone American Hooked, hand-hooked in cotton around 1950. This one-of-a-kind piece showcases a geometric composition across a multicolor jewel-tone palette, and measures 1'8" x 4'9". American hooked rugs are a beloved folk-art tradition in which loops of wool or cotton are pulled through a sturdy foundation by hand. They are cherished for their graphic, naive charm and one-of-a-kind, handmade character. As a smaller scatter size, it makes a perfect accent for an entryway, reading nook or bedside - and layers beautifully over a larger rug or natural fiber. Its multicolor palette gives you freedom to pull accent colors throughout the room. Hand-made from natural fibers, it carries the warmth and irregular charm of true handcraft.
