This is an antique one-of-a-kind 2'0" x 3'0" Rectangle rug, hand hooked in wool before 1900. A striking antique ivory and beige American Hooked, hand-hooked in wool around 1880. This one-of-a-kind piece showcases a folk art across an ivory and beige palette, and measures 2'0" x 3'0". American hooked rugs are a beloved folk-art tradition in which loops of wool or cotton are pulled through a sturdy foundation by hand. They are cherished for their graphic, naive charm and one-of-a-kind, handmade character. As a smaller scatter size, it makes a perfect accent for an entryway, reading nook or bedside - and layers beautifully over a larger rug or natural fiber. The ivory palette is endlessly versatile, lightening and enlarging a room. Hand-made from natural fibers, it carries the warmth and irregular charm of true handcraft.
