The Antique American Tiled Squares Cross Pattern Hooked Rug is an exceptional piece of American folk artistry dating back to the 1940s. Hand-knotted from high-quality wool, this rectangular rug features a striking geometric grid with square and cruciform motifs that create a sophisticated mosaic effect. The palette is grounded in deep brown earth tones, utilizing a muted khaki and olive background with accents of brick red and pale ivory for depth and contrast. This small scatter rug represents a unique intersection of traditional craft and modernist design, offering a dense texture and a 0.5-inch pile height. Its allover pattern ensures visual continuity, making it a valuable and stylish addition to any space.
