The Small Size Light Color Antique Oriental Silk Chinese Scatter Rug is an exquisite hand-knotted textile from the 1940s. Crafted in China with a dense silk pile, this rectangular rug features a luxurious sheen that captures and reflects light beautifully. The design showcases a warm, golden-tan ground with a soft, monochromatic field punctuated by vibrant rose and sky blue floral clusters. Stylized central and quarter medallions are anchored by navy elements and framed by a bold double border with a classic meander pattern. This antique piece balances traditional East Asian iconography with a modern palette, offering unparalleled softness underfoot. Its compact dimensions make it an ideal accent for entryways, dressing rooms, or placed gracefully beside furniture.
