The Antique Art Deco Large Room Size Wool Peach Rug is an exceptional Chinese Art Deco piece from circa 1935 that captures a transitional mid-century aesthetic. This hand-knotted wool rug features a sophisticated, warm peach primary hue with a characteristic sheen, providing a vibrant foundation for any room. Its expansive, open field design reflects the Art Deco movement's departure from dense traditional patterns, utilizing deliberate asymmetry. Two finely rendered floral sprays in teal, deep burgundy, and soft ivory are strategically placed in opposing corners to balance the composition. Woven in China during a period of intense Western influence, this rectangular rug bridges Eastern craftsmanship with modernist sensibilities. With a 0.5-inch pile height and excellent condition, it serves as a distinguished addition for collectors seeking rare antique pieces.
