This striking transitional piece offers a dramatic, contemporary interpretation of color field painting, utilizing deep indigo and vibrant teal tones against a light ground. Crafted from high-quality wool, the rug features a luxurious texture that complements its visual complexity. The design presents a fluid, painterly surface where saturated blues appear to bleed into the softer, distressed background, creating visual movement and depth. The predominant neutral field is composed of subtle variations of cream and light gray.
