I would not call the finish on this lantern a dark brass. To me, this implies a goldish undertone and it is in actuality a grayblack finish. I also wish the candle sleeves weren’t cheap looking white plastic. I will try to find a metal option to replace them. Bought the Concord 1- Bulb outdoor wall lantern for the back of the house to match the 2 bulb Concord lanterns I have at the front door. LOVE this light. The color is very versatile in a slate grey tone. It is elegant yet still has a hint of rustic style. The larger size really works well to frame out a renovated entry for my low roofline home. I did find that the small screw caps need to be really tightened well or they fall off (I'm going to ask for replacement-a minor item and more related to installation).
