Their pot planter is high-fired centigrade to ensure frost resistance and durability. Due to the processes used in the manufacturing of their hand-made and hand-glazed containers, all variations concerning firing, color, size, and crackling are natural occurrences in the manufacturing process. The glazes on their containers consist of natural, not chemical, components, and therefore the final color of the product will vary. This process creates the unique beauty of each piece.

The Adan Planters transform functional garden containers into sculptural design statements, inspired by the geometry of a diamond. They create a striking architectural presence that enhances patios, terraces, entryways, and interiors.

Love this stylized planter and how it adds to our home.. Rhonda. Georgetown, TX. Sun Nov 13 2022

In the winter, if a planter is to remain planted, they should be raised off the ground making sure not to block the drainage hole. This allows the planter to drain and will prevent the planter from freezing to the ground. If the planter is not to be planted, it should be brought inside to a garage or shed. If this is not possible, follow the steps above, but turn the planter upside down to prevent it from filling with snow and ice. It should then be covered or wrapped with burlap or any absorbent material and then wrapped with dark plastic to prevent it from accumulating moisture.

just as beautiful as i had hoped it to be. Marilyn. Wheaton, IL. Wed Aug 18 2021

Inspired by a previous whimsical design that has been extremely popular, the Abu planter with its seated ape, molded in cast aluminum, lifts a plant-worthy vessel with little effort. The antique gold finish that covers the piece makes the gold planter read as if it has aged. The texture that is inherent in metal poured into molds in a foundry is evident in this piece, which brings it a vintage flair. It is best to use a liner with a solid metal planter when a planter has a drain hole.

Love it. High quality, sturdy and exactly as described, including the color.. Kristen. Raleigh, NC. Wed Jun 18 2025

The mix is comprised primarily of water, sand, stone aggregate, and cement. Our cast stone products may qualify for LEED credits as applicable to your project. Cast stone produces a strong and durable product that will weather naturally in an outdoor environment. Simply stated, cast stone is chosen for its beauty and authenticity. Our material is natural, authentic, made in the USA, and 100% recyclable. These planters are often specified for hospitality projects, large-scale public space installations, pedestrian and traffic safety, and other custom projects. While the high firing temperature and quality of their glazed and terra cotta containers result in a durable and frost-resistant product, we still recommend that they are stored in a frost-free covered area in winter. If left outside, water may accumulate in the container and freeze, causing the planter to crack and break. Planters that must be left outside should be covered to prevent water, snow, and ice from accumulating inside the planter. This Smythe Terracotta Pot Planter glazed and terra cotta pottery is high-fired between 990 (terra cotta) and 1000 (glazed) degrees centigrade to ensure frost resistance and durability.

Crafted from durable cast stone, this planter is designed to withstand the elements, making it perfect for outdoor use. Its classic design and weather-resistant finish ensure it complements any outdoor setting. With multiple color options, it seamlessly fits into your existing decor.

These pots are substantial and beautifully enhance my garden design. I gave one less star because the drainage hole is too small (or perhaps there needs to be more than one for such a large pot?) That being said, we have a lot of rain where I am located, so perhaps it will not be a problem in other areas. The other issue ( major, difficult, and disappointing) was that delivery was not as promised, neither easy or well handled. But once these fabulous pots were unpacked, placed and planted they anchor my garden and give me endless pleasure.. Barbara. Juno Beach, FL. Mon Sep 23 2024
