This fan-integrated lighting fixture features stunning amber mica with a matching bottom diffuser; complemented with an Oil Rubbed Bronze finish. Multiple layers of light for different moods and tasks include Integral LED inner lights that bring out the beauty of the mica and provide beautiful ambient lighting; while 4 downlights deliver task illumination on surfaces below. In summer; the fan pushes down a windchill that circulates to keep the space cool and comfortable. Formal yet contemporary is a difficult balance to find, but Perseus is a shining example. Named after the star constellation, this piece is inspired by 21st-century spacecraft design. The floating ring around the fan is something otherworldly, and this cosmic approach is carried throughout the design. The interplay between the earthly wood blades and the celestial metallic body is not quite like anything the world has seen before.

Combining a nautical theme with an industrial edge, the Caneel Bay has a look that is entirely it's own. This rustic model takes cues from the 1950s American Industrial, when exposed hardware was an integral part of the design, and integrates this approach throughout each element of the fan. I love the fan but don’t like the fact that the remote is supposed to go in the wall. The whole point of a remote is so you don’t have to get up to adjust the fan speed or lights.
