Beautiful wood and beautiful product!!! However, the assembly and instructions provided were a nightmare. It doesn’t clearly state that you have to drill the holes in the chairs to make them bigger. Also, the bolts provided for the table were barely long enough and we ended up purchasing longer bolts to secure the legs. Took us about 8 hours to assemble the entire thing....... Matthew. Really like the design & style. Chairs came assembled which was great! Supplies & instructions for assembling the table were problematic on several accounts, but not beyond a DIY type person’s ability to make it all work out in the end. This is an extremely well-made teak set. Very solidly built. It came fully assembled which was great. It did not come finished and it took us about 12 hours to apply two coats of teak oil. The dining table did not come with assembly instructions. Had we not first assembled the chairs (they DID have instructions) then we would have been lost and more confused. I'm not sure if the instructions just weren't slipped in there or if there are none to be had. Kudos to the instructions for the chairs though! They were very clear and intuitive. Definitely not written by an engineer, but probably more of a simple minded, logical, intuitive person like me! They got me! The furniture was MUCH easier to put together than something you'd get from, say, that big box Swedish furniture store (It starts with an I!). The quality of the furniture is fantastic! This is a beautiful teak dining set. The quality is outstanding and so much better than expected. The finish is beautiful and the edges are polished. Its a shame that it has to stay outside. The chairs are very comfortable and they stack which is something I love and did not see in the description. The fold out leaf is very easy to operate. The umbrella hole is in the leaf, so there is no hole when the table is not extended. Not a problem, but something you should know. I paid over 500 for assembly which was a mistake. The chairs came fully assembled so the table legs were the only thing that needed to be put together with a couple of wooden dowels and 4 screws. It took the Handy tech 1 hour to assemble. It took my husband and I longer to unpack and inspect the table prior to assembly as per Wayfairs instructions. FYI, the set came in 3 large boxes in a wooden crate on a pallet that was delivered with a fork lift! Everything was packed beautifully and in perfect condition.
