Like every grill I've ever used, some spots are warmer than others. It takes a bit of experimentation. Some times this is an advantage. Move thinner cuts to the sides and thicker cuts nearer the back of the grill to get all to cook evenly and be done at the same time. The axillary side burner heats a bit more slowly than I'd hoped. But I can steam a big pot of corn in relatively short order. I'm overall very pleased.

Love this new version from Weber. Had our last Weber Genesis for over 20 years. The interchange system is great. Cooked burgers on the griddle, tasted great and easy clean up.

I was in the mood to pay a little extra to get some extra benefits. I’m not convinced those benefits are worth it. But maybe I still don’t know how to take full advantage of the iphone application.

Nice grill, only downside is the heat distribution. Even in the sear zone, the front of the grill (closer to the knobs) is much cooler than the back, not doing a good searing. It causes a huge limitation in the sear zone efficacy.
