Love the sear grate! It works very well on meats and fish. They turn easily and cook beautifully. I’m used to grilling on cast iron and not stainless steel (which is what the new grill has) and this is a great addition.

Peeled way too quickly, but the idea is good. Quality cast iron without the coating would be a better product. I've owned it for a while, but the peeling began in just under a year. Edit: Weber reached out to me, and after submitting a photo, they gladly replaced the grate. So I thought it was worth mentioning.

Good sear, ample grilling space. Nice that you are able to flip it over to grill fish/veggies.

We LOVE the sear grate; however, it doesn't hold its enamel finish well. Weber recommended a typical grill brush for cleaning but ours took the finish off and rust settled onto the grate. Purchased a second one and along with a bristle free BBQ cleaning arm w/pad that you use water on the hot grill (400 degrees) and steams clean the grate clean
