With age, the patina turns to an elegant silver tone. Regularly oiling teak will cause it to retain its original color longer. Most prefer the teak to age naturally. Teak can be cleaned with mild soap and water. Teak surfaces should never be pressure washed. Varnish is not recommended as a surface coating. Cushions: Clean minor spills with mild soap and a damp cloth. Always rinse thoroughly with water. Pat dry to remove excess water and then allow to air dry. Do not clean using residential or commercial washers or dryers. Do not dry clean. Cushions should be covered or stored indoors when not in use.
