• The rusting and oxidization that takes place over time will cause the product to change from a silver finish to a bronze finish and this is referenced in the manuals and photos of the unit. If you wish to accelerate the rusting process, you can create a spray-on solution to help. You will need: • White Vinegar • Hydrogen Peroxide • Salt • Safety Goggles • Protective Gloves • Spray Bottle 1. Wearing gloves and goggles, mix 16oz. hydrogen peroxide, 1/2 Tbsp. salt, and 2oz. white vinegar. 2. Shake well until the salt has dissolved. 3. Place the metal fire pit on a covered surface to prevent staining. 4. Spray the whole unit with the solution, let dry fully, and repeat the process. Continue this process until the desired result is achieved.
