I purchased this umbrella and was willing to pay the $1K for it because the description stated that the umbrella came with a metal stand. In fact, some of the reviews mention the stand that came with the umbrella. But when I received the umbrella, it did not come with the stand. I contacted Wayfair and they immediately put in a request for a "replacement part." Two days later, I receive an email from Wayfair stating that I had "misread" the description and that this umbrella did not include a stand. When I logged into my Wayfair account, someone had changed the website description ..... except they weren't smart enough to read through the entire description & forgot to update one of the paragraphs that described the stand that came with the umbrella. I quickly took a snapshot of that description and contacted Wayfair again. This time the Wayfair rep admitted that they had posted the item incorrectly on their website. They couldn't send me a stand. The only thing I could do is to return the item and order something different. The umbrella itself is unbelievably nice. But it's not worth paying over $1K for an umbrella that can't stand up.
