The ASTOR Bench brings the collection’s distinctive woven architecture into a compact, versatile seating form. Its powder-coated aluminum frame is carefully wrapped in all-weather wicker, creating an open pattern that adds texture while allowing air and light to move naturally through the structure. The included cushion provides comfortable support for casual outdoor seating. The design draws from Erino Wade’s exploration of Japanese kooshi screens, where delicate grids can suggest a boundary without fully separating one space from another. Combined with the minimal weaving patterns of Japanese baskets, the bench becomes more than a practical seat—it subtly shapes the atmosphere around it. Perfect for patios, gardens, terraces, or alongside an outdoor dining setting, ASTOR offers flexible seating with a distinctive design character.
