This is to make personal size Pizzas. Perfect for the price.

Great idea, wish it was a little bigger. Doesn’t fit a 12 inch pizza peel that I have. Although you can make sandwiches, empanadas, baked potatoes, or anything else that benefits from a little superheated of experience. I’ve only been able to get it up to around 700° more or less after seven or eight minutes of warming.

My husband has been wanting a pizza oven. We previously purchased a Mont Alpi outdoor barbecue, and this portable side burner Pizza oven and Pizza Stone is absolutely perfect. He did have to install two hollow steel bars (3/4 “x 3/4 “x 13 1/4) in front of the Pizza oven. Also, reverse the screw and nut on the glass door to allow the door to open flat.

Build quality is good for the price point. Design is simple and compact (its basically a half circle piece of sheet metal with an open bottom). It uses your grill’s side burner as the heating element, sits neatly on top of the burner. Oven comes with metal grate and decent quality 10in pizza stone. You will need a pizza peel (I purchased a 9in peel which works great). I also recommend getting an infrared thermometer to check the stone temperature. Oven and stone reach 500 degrees in a few minutes and you are ready to cook. There are two design issues in my opinion. First, there is no way to secure the oven to the grill. It just sits on top. If you move the grill or bump the oven it will slide around. You are left on your own to address the issue (oven comes with no instructions at all). Second, the stone basically sits on the flames which makes the stone way too hot (close to 700 degrees). This equals burnt pizza bottoms and undercooked tops. I had to purchase a cast iron heat diffuser to put on top of the burner to dissipate the heat (see photo). 4 stars, I’m happy with the purchase. After addressing the design issues oven works great. Pros Good price Good build quality Compact and good looking Heats up quickly Cooks good pizza Cons Issues with design
